On May 26, a delegation led by Mr. Sitthichai Swadsaen, Governor of Thailand's Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, visited Leshan Vocational and Technical College (LVTC). The group toured the college's facilities and training bases, engaging in in-depth discussions on vocational education cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.
Leshan City and Prachuap Khiri Khan Province established a sister-city relationship in 2013, since then achieving fruitful collaboration in culture, tourism, vocational education, healthcare, and citizen exchanges. This visit aims to explore further opportunities in economy, trade, culture, tourism, and education.
Accompanied by LVTC President Liu Zhong and Vice President Zhou Qin, the delegation visited several sites, including the Qingjiang Emei Martial Arts Base, JD Digital Business Industry College, the Life Science Museum, the Robotics and Intelligent Control Innovation Practice Center, Qingjiang Art Space, and the Qingjiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall. Each site demonstrated the college's achievements in traditional martial arts, digital commerce industry-education integration, medical nursing training, smart manufacturing talent cultivation, and Chinese traditional culture education.
The delegation spoke highly of LVTC's integrated theory-practice teaching model and its industry-education collaboration. Governor Sitthichai Swadsaen noted that Prachuap Khiri Khan Province values its friendly ties with Leshan and hopes to use this visit as an opportunity to advance practical cooperation in vocational education and talent development.
